Practice and Plan Your Self-Care with Lovet’s Self Care Planner
Do you plan out your self-care every day?
As a huge supporter of practicing self-care and learning more ways to optimize it, one thing I wasn't doing was planning out my self-care.
Thanks to Lovet's Self Care Planner, I have been able to plan my self-care for the last two weeks and have found it more effective than practicing self-care when I just felt like I needed it.
Today, I will be walking you through Lovet's Self Care Planner, review how I have utilized the planner over the last two weeks, and provide a little discount at the end.
Background on Lovet Planners
Lovet Planners is a female-owned Los Angeles-based business. They sell exclusively on lovetplanners.com, and their planners are made in the USA.
Other planners they sell are a Weekly Planner, Website Planner, Project Planner, Instagram Planner, and Vision Board Planner.
Lovet Planners also provide Ultimate Planners that are 12-month fill-in planners and checklists to help you organize your Blog, Social media, or Youtube.
Self Care Planner
The self-care planner has 12 months that consist of adding 1 self-care practice a day. I love this planner because you fill in the month. You can start at any month you choose. I started my first month in March.
One of my favorite things about the Self Care Planner is space is given for writing a love letter to yourself. If you have been reading my blog, you know that I challenged you to do this for Valentine's Day.
The Self Care planner also has you set your self-care goals for the year by focusing on your mind, body, and soul. There are also ideas for self-care for the body, caring for others, and your heart, mind, & soul.
What to Expect for Each Month
Each month, you create a Mantra, challenge yourself to write 14 things to give gratitude to from the previous month and write self-compliments through the month. What is nice about writing compliments is you can look back at them when you need a mood boost.
You set one practice of self-care a day and reflect on how you feel each week.
My Experience
Over the past two weeks, I have been putting in my self-care practice once a day, and I can say that I have been feeling amazing.
Some of my favorite self-care practices were:
Tell Someone How Much They Mean to You
On March 16th, I let my husband know how much he means to me and how I appreciate everything he does. It was good to say those things because even though he knows he means a lot to me, it was great to remind him how much he means to me.
Unplugging from Social Media
Last Thursday, I unplugged from my social media, and it was great to focus on my needs for that day.
Reconnect with an old friend
Last Thursday, I doubled up my self-care practice by calling and reconnecting with an old friend. This was amazing to talk about happy memories and reassure each other that we may not talk every day, but we are both cheering each other on.
Go Outside
This past Sunday, the weather was very nice here in Michigan, and being about to breathe the fresh air and enjoy the rays from the sun brightened my mood a lot.
Clean Up Photo Library
Today, I will be cleaning out my photo library, and I am so excited! My photo library is currently at 12,310 photos. My goal is to bring down that number today and organize my photos into albums.
There are so many more self-care ideas provided in the Self Care Planner, and there are spaces for you to add self-care practices of your own if you don't see them in the planner.
You Deserve to Take Time for Yourself
